Air Force 1 Low '07 LX "Thank You Plastic Bag"

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Thank You Plastic Bag honors an overlooked-yet-intrinsic part of New York City culture: the unassuming plastic bag printed with a "Thank You" graphic. Given out at nearly every corner store in all five of its boroughs, the New York City Thank You bag is as common a sight as pigeons. Applying the cheeky theme to the Air Force 1, the adopted sneaker of NYC, hits the sweet spot of irony. The look of the Thank You Plastic Bag mimics the iconic White-on-White colorway as white tumbled leather can be found on the perforated toe and the mid-panel, collar, and heel. The Swoosh and Nike Air embroidery on the mid-panel and heel, respectively, are finished off in white ?la the White-on-White style. The comparisons end there as Nike applies a repeating red outline Nike logo to the tongue tag in reference to the stacked Thank You motif found on the bag the colorway is inspired by.
